Generative Systems Workshop

I produced a set of compositions using black paper tiles on a set 7 by 7 grids. The amount of tiles used was taken from the randomly selected numbers I had chosen previously for a lottery ticket.



For each number I produced seperate pieces using four different systems. The systems I used to create the pieces above, from left to right were:

Symmetry
Chance
Progression
Collaboration

The grids within the group were later compiled together in two larger pieces. One contained all the high numbers, and the second contained all the low numbers.
