I put on an Artists' Book workshop in Solihull Art Gallery. The pages of the book consisted of photographs I had systematically captured that documented a walk around the building itself. I used a simple framing method when photographing my images. And demonstrated simple folds and binding techniques that would be needed to make the book a finished piece.
Hi Jat.. Well after your workshop I had a slight folding obsession.. So when I posted my ballot paper at the polling station I made sure it was folded in an interesting way. The woman on the desk even commented on the fold technique, but then reminded me that the person who has to unfold it to find out my vote probably wouldn't be as impressed as she was! Thanks for a really interesting workshop - Emily (the slow cutter and folder!)
